Eastern Slope Aviation Academy

Eastern Slope Aviation Academy (ESAvAc) is a non-profit educational institution in Mount Washington Valley, New Hampshire, focusing on aviation education and STEM programs. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, it is the first career technical center in New Hampshire dedicated to aviation education. ESAvAc’s mission is to provide educational and mentoring opportunities, particularly regarding aviation careers, to students and residents in the region. They rely on member support and donations through their non-profit Education Foundation. The academy offers various aviation resources, including a 1971 Grumman American aircraft project for hands-on maintenance experience, an FAA licensed AP/IA mechanic for supervision, and a Redbird flight simulator for realistic pilot training. Their vision includes collaborating with local high schools to implement the AOPA STEM Aviation Curriculum, establishing mechanic and avionics technician training programs, offering aviation-related programs, lectures, and certifications, and maintaining a fleet that includes a refurbished Cessna 150M and a Redbird Simulator for training modules.
